Who we are

FetchTune (“we,” “us,” and “our”) provides this service.

This policy covers the FetchTune website. The source platforms and your browser have their own privacy practices.

Information used to provide downloads

When you paste a link, FetchTune sends requests through our hosting provider to retrieve track information, artwork, and available audio from SoundCloud or YouTube. Those requests can include the source URL, track or playlist identifiers, and technical information needed to retrieve the content.

Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, necessarily processes connection information such as your IP address, browser headers, request URLs, and request time to deliver and protect the service. Diagnostic errors may be logged to troubleshoot failures. Request URLs and errors can contain source identifiers.

What stays in your browser

MP3 conversion and ZIP creation happen in your browser. The app keeps the current playlist and download progress in memory; it does not maintain an account, saved library, or persistent download-history database. Refreshing or closing the page clears the app session. Downloaded files remain on your device until you delete them, and your browser may keep its own cache and download history.

Our relay streams audio to your browser. It does not save audio files to an application database, server disk, or storage bucket.

Cookies, advertising, and analytics

FetchTune does not add advertising cookies, analytics trackers, or a local-storage download history. We do not sell personal information or use your activity for targeted advertising. Infrastructure providers may process technical data for delivery, security, and abuse prevention under their own policies.

Service providers and external sites

Cloudflare hosts the site and relays source requests. SoundCloud, YouTube, and their media hosts process requests needed to provide track information and audio; artwork may also load directly from those hosts. We do not forward your browser cookies or authorization headers through our relay.

Purpose and retention

We use request information to fulfill your download requests, keep the service working, diagnose errors, and prevent abuse. Where a legal basis is required, this processing supports providing the service you request and our legitimate interests in reliability and security.

FetchTune does not create a permanent application record of your downloads. Temporary browser data lasts for the current session. Infrastructure and diagnostic logs may be retained according to the hosting provider’s configuration and policies; we do not promise that all technical records disappear when you close the tab.

Your choices and rights

You can stop a download, close the page, clear your browser data, and delete files from your device. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to processing of personal information, and to contact your local data-protection authority. Requests can only apply to information that we actually hold; we may need enough information to verify and locate it.

Children and policy changes

FetchTune is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. We may update this policy when the service changes; the date above identifies the latest revision.
